Weigh in day

So it is 2 weeks since I downloaded NutraCheck the calorie counting app that I’m using to track what I’m eating and I weigh myself on Saturday morning.

I will admit that there were 2 days that I went over my daily calorie allowance and 2 days that I didn’t reach my exercise target but other than that I felt pretty good. I stepped on the scales and they read the same as last week. 😩

I remember from years ago when I did Weight Watchers that there were weeks that I’d stayed on plan and my weight stayed the same. I was frustrated but as the leader said, there are times in the month it happens and I’d more than likely see a loss the following week.

I know that this reads like I’m moaning but it’s been a while since I’ve felt this disappointment and frustration. I knew I wouldn’t lose 3 pounds again this week but I had thought I’d be at least 1 pound lighter!

I’m not deterred or defeated. I’ve counted my calories, weighed and measured and stayed on track today. Yes I’m frustrated but the old me would’ve thought “f**k it” and eaten rubbish. The new me is going to increase their activity level further and strive to have no days this week where I exceed my calorie allowance.

I feel good and am remaining focused on my long term goal of being fitter, healthier and eventually become a mother. Hopefully there will be less of me next week!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🏃🏻‍♀️
